But now it's time again for one of my favorites.
It's baby cereal time.
Do you remember that old song by Olivia Newton John, "Let's Get Physical?" Not exactly the most holy little song, but quite a catchy tune. Well, we sing our baby cereal song to that tune. Our song goes like this..

Let's have cereal
Yummy, yummy cereal
Yummy in your tummy, tummy
So yummy yum
Yummy in your tummy, tummy
You get the idea.
Or at least you get the idea that I'm a total goofball!

And here's how well her first cereal experience went...
Maybe she didn't like my song???
She's been at it now for a couple of weeks and is getting slightly better. She seems to like the song and doesn't cry when we feed her, but still thrusts her tongue back out at us with the cereal all over it.
Maybe she needs a song about swallowing.

My husband makes up goofy songs and I've been know to do the same.
We just started cereal with our baby girl. She looked at me like I was feeding her toe jam.

and yes..we make up silly songs too. good to know we're not the only ones either!
Soooo...I don't have kids yet but my husband and I sing silly songs. See, we call each other "BABE" so sometimes we sing songs that we know but the only word is "BABE" and make the other guess which song it is. How silly! I love it!
