I'm so excited to be here! Why am I blogging, you ask? Simply put, because I think it’d be fun. Do I have the time? We’ll have to see. I would think I could put a small post up each day, but I do have three small children and a home to take care of. No promises.

- First, I am a daughter of the King – a sinner saved and redeemed because of Jesus. I am a wife to my amazing husband of almost 12 years and a stay at home mom to five precious and active children ages 8 and under (which also leads me to be chef, nurse, teacher, trash collector, housekeeper, historian, counselor, referee, and activities director.) I am a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a neighbor, and a friend. Some of my bright spots are found by spending time with the people I love, traveling, bargain shopping (especially CVSing), talking about adoption, playing with spreadsheets (yes, I know I’m strange), and creating a home that is a peaceful respite from this crazy world.
